"Harold's IGA is always in flux. Named after a defunct grocery store in North Idaho, this indie folk rock band doesn't take itself too seriously. The songs written by front man Ben Olson are all wildly different, fluctuating from folk melodies to indie rock ballads to electronic fugues. They defy easy classification. There is a delightfully different sense of weirdness in each track. Some are melodic and thoughtful, others syncopated and pedal-driven, still others with an infusion of Northwest cowboy. Think rural cowboys who grew up listening to Radiohead and Neil Young in the backwoods while drinking cheap whiskey.
